Healthy Dinner for the Family


Looking to make something really tasty but light on calories and work? This simple dinner menu fits the bill perfectly. It won't take long to make and you'll feel good that the family had a nutritious meal that they liked.

The logistics of this menu are surprisingly simple. Prepare the dessert in the morning (it only takes a few minutes) or the night before and leave it covered in the refrigerator. Then you can bake the chicken and rice at the same time; just keep on eye on the timing as the chicken won't take quite as long. While they cook it is easy to prepare the salad and carrots.

The Green Bean Caesar Salad is a snap to make using bottled fat-free Italian dressing and you'll be surprised at the full Caesar dressing flavor. The Garlic Roasted Chicken Breasts make their own absolutely wonderful sauce as they cook (you'll want to eat this dish often).
