Don the Beachcomber Chicken (or Spareribs)

3 lbs chicken or spareribs
1/2 cup soy sauce
3/4 cup ketchup
1 clove garlic
1 finger ginger
1 oz cooking sherry
1 cup miracle whip
Clean chicken. In a bowl, combine ketchup, ginger, soy sauce, garlic, sherry and miracle whip. Marinate chicken in mixture for 3 hours or more.
Bake for 3/4 hour to 1 hour at 350F.
Yield: 4 to 6 Servings
