Monette's Famous Pizza Dip
From Monette Carlos, Class of 1990, as printed in "What's Cooking: Academy of Our Lady Cookbook"


8 oz cream cheese, softened
8 oz mozzarella cheese, grated
8 oz pizza sauce
2 oz black olives, chopped
2 to 4 fresh mushrooms, chopped
2 to 3 green onions
1 tsp dried oregano
1 loaf French bread

Spread cream cheese in 9 inch glass pie dish. Layer olives, mushrooms and green onions on top of cream cheese. Cover with pizza sauce and sprinkle with oregano. Finish by covering with mozzarella. Bake in 350F oven until cheese has completely melted or microwave for 3 to 5 minutes. Add more mushrooms, onions and olives if you wish. Serve with French bread.

Yield: 4 to 6 servings
