2 Ibs pork spare ribs (cut in halves)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 tsp black pepper
4 tsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp MSG (optional as many people are allergic)
1/2 cup water
Marinate ribs in garlic, onions, salt, vinegar, pepper and MSG.
Cover bowl and set aside for 25 minutes, then drain liquid into another bowl and put aside. Place mixed ribs in a large pot.
Cook at high heat for 3 minutes. Reduce to medium heat for 5 minutes then reduce to medium-low and add soy sauce. Stir occasionally for 5 minutes.
Add reserved liquid and water. Cover. Simmer 30 to 45 minutes or until ribs are done.
Yield: 6 Servings
