Finadene Sauce
Dorothy's Kitchen


Variation I

10 to 12 medium hot peppers
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup chopped onions


Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Mash hot peppers to obtain the hot taste. Depending on the 'hotness' desired mash a few or all.

This will keep in the refrigerator. Some local ladies prefer to add the onions fresh, just before serving. Goes well with most everything.

Variation II

10 to 12 chili peppers
2 cloves garlic, mashed
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup coconut milk


Mash peppers, garlic and onions. Add coconut milk and serve. Onions can be added later or just before serving. (Hang on to your hat because this one is a REAL blast.)

Yield: About 1 Cup
