This classic cocktail can be prepared by the pitcher if serving a large group. The recipe that follows is for a single champagne flute. Adjust as necessary using a 1 part juice to 2 parts champagne ratio.
2 ozs fresh orange juice (if fresh isn't available, use the best store brand you can afford)
4 ozs champagne or sparkling wine*
Make sure all ingredients are very cold and don't over mix or you will lose the "fizz".
*Using a dry sparkling wine such as Cook's Grand Reserve or Lindauers Brut instead of a spumante type will keep the drink from being too sweet.
