Sesame and Green Onion Puto

Serve the Fresh Ahi and Marlin Ceviche atop these steamed and seared muffin like rounds.

2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
3 tsps baking powder
2 cups coconut milk
1 cup sugar
1 cup grated coconut
1 Tbs sesame seed oil
1/4 cup sesame seeds, lightly toasted
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
Butter for frying

Place all dry ingredients into bowl and stir to combine. Add the coconut milk and mix until blended. Fill ramekins half full and steam in a large pan with a tightly fitting lid. Steam for approximately 20 to 25 minutes. Remove and let cool. Slice in half and brown in hot pan with clarified butter.

Yield: 8 servings
